Jules Gounon and Dani Juncadella confirmed as Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing drivers for the 2024 FIA GT World Cup
Macau Slot and Spark Models named as title sponsors on two-car Mercedes-AMG GT3 entry
Hong Kong Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing has confirmed their return to the iconic Macau Guia Circuit for the 2024 FIA GT World Cup as part of the 71st Macau Grand Prix, which will be held at Macau’s Guia Circuit from November 15 to 17.
Representing Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing in Macau will be drivers Jules Gounon (car #99) and Dani Juncadella (car #77). Both are no strangers to Macau and have collaborated with Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing over the years. Juncadella previously drove for the team during the 2024 Bathurst 12 Hour, while Gounon made his Macau GP debut last year.
Both drivers will be using Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars, also featuring fresh livery designs for this year’s edition of the GT World Cup. Juncadella’s #77 car features a diverse combination of green, white, orange, and black colors, while Gounon’s #99 car keeps its appearance more restrained with a full black and red highlights design. Both cars prominently feature Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing’s sponsors - including MSI, Spark Models, Macau Slot, M Plus Live, Gravity, HK Asia Medical Holding, Evisu, and FreeM.
Since its inception in 1954, the Macau Grand Prix continues to be one of the most anticipated racing events in Asia each year. Its host track, the 6.12 km Macau Guia Street Circuit is known as one of the least forgiving race circuits in the world. Consisting of 24 turns, its various sections challenge even the most professional and experienced driving talent each year - from the high-speed Mandarin Bend corner to super slow corners like the Melco Hairpin.
All the races throughout this year’s Macau Grand Prix weekend will be available to view globally via the official website, live stream and broadcast through various TV stations.

“We are returning to the Macau Grand Prix with a two-car entry in the FIA GT World Cup. We have worked with both Jules and Dani in the past, and we are thrilled to have them back behind the wheel of our Mercedes AMG GT3s in Macau this year. The competition is very strong this year, but we have prepared well and I’m confident both drivers will have what it takes to fight for the win.”

“I am looking forward to be returning to one of my favorite places - and circuits in the world. This year is especially exciting with the grid lineup we are expecting - with the possibility it will be one of the biggest races ever in GT World Cup history. Myself, my fellow driver Jules and the team will work together to ensure we do everything we can to put in a great performance at Macau and push to have a chance at a podium finish! .”
